A professional actor, teacher and dialect/text coach, Ms. Soffer has taught for a variety of schools and theatre companies including A.C.T., Berkeley Rep, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, SJSU, Stanford University and Marin Shakespeare Theaters, The Voice Factory, Voicetrax Studios in Marin, and various schools throughout Alaska.  She has served as dialect and/or text coach for over 300 productions at theaters across America including A.C.T., Berkeley, San Jose and Seattle Repertory Theaters, The Old Globe (San Diego), Dallas Theater Center, Arizona Theater Co, Arena Stage, Marin Theater Company, The Magic Theatre, Denver Center, San Jose Stage, California Shakespeare Theatre, and the World Premiere of The Laramie Project in Denver and New York, and for several motion pictures including Duets, Metro and Fruitvale Station as well as the Netflix series Thirteen Reasons Why. She is currently the English Diction coach for SF Opera.
